About Maria Casino

Maria Casino began life as Maria Bingo, a Scandinavian online bingo site launched in 2005 that broadened into a casual-friendly online casino. Its soft, community-driven positioning โ€” bingo roots, casino games, a historically female-skewing audience โ€” made it a distinctive complement to the sportier Unibet brand.

Unibet Group saw that complementarity early and acquired Maria in 2007. The brand stayed in the family through the group's 2016 renaming to Kindred and the 2024 takeover by La Franรงaise des Jeux, which created today's FDJ United. Maria Casino now serves regulated Nordic and Baltic markets from the group's Malta operations hub.

Because Maria has no separate corporate existence, the listed vehicle behind it is FDJ United on Euronext Paris (ticker FDJU). Its contribution sits inside FDJ United's international online gaming segment alongside Unibet and 32Red.
