Allwyn Casino

Allwyn Casino is the new name for Greece's most established gambling operation: the online casino of OPAP, the former state betting monopoly founded in 1958. OPAP took its games online under Greece's licensed regime, running casino and live-casino play alongside its Pame Stoixima sports betting, before the whole consumer estate began switching to the Allwyn identity in 2026, with allwyn.gr replacing the opap.gr and opaponline.gr portals.

The product spans online slots, live casino and betting under OPAP's Hellenic Gaming Commission licence, which covers both Type 1 online betting and Type 2 online casino games; familiar game names such as Pame Stoixima, KINO and Joker are staying. The rebrand follows years of growing control by Karel Komarek's KKCG, whose Allwyn (formerly SAZKA Group) built a 51.8% OPAP stake before the two companies agreed an all-share combination in October 2025; Greek retail shops convert to Allwyn branding through 2027.

The listed owner changed with the deal's completion on 24 March 2026: OPAP S.A. shares became shares in Allwyn AG, which began trading on the Athens Stock Exchange as ALWN on 25 March 2026, retiring the decades-old OPAP ticker. Allwyn AG — now the world's second-largest listed lottery and gaming operator — redomiciled to Switzerland in June 2026 and has said it may add a secondary listing in London or New York.
